Membership Grades

DISTINGUISHED FELLOW PLUS HONRARY PHD

This is the highest level of recognition. Procedure for award is constantly reviewed to project the highest professional standards. Applicants must have M.Sc with a mininum of 15 years of work experience.

DOCTORAL FELLOW

The Council of Institute of Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences confer Doctoral Fellow on Persons who have been in Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences for at least 12 years and who are adjudged to be eligible by qualification and experience with M.Sc.

RESEARCH FELLOW

The Council of Institute of Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences confer Research Fellow on Persons who have been in Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences for at least 10 years and who are adjudged to be eligible by qualification and experience with M.Sc.

FELLOW MEMBER

The Council of Institute of Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences confer Fellow on Persons who have been in Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences for at least 8 years and who are adjudged to be eligible by qualification and experience with HND/B.Sc.

SENIOR MEMBER

The Council of Institute of Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences confer Senior Member on Persons who have been in Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences for at least 6 years and who are adjudged to be eligible by qualification and experience with HND/B.Sc.

FULL MEMBER

The Council of Institute of Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences confer Full Member on Persons who have been in Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences for at least 4 years and who are adjudged to be eligible by qualification and experience with HND/B.Sc.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

The Council of Institute of Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences confer Associate Member on Persons who have been in Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences for at least 1 year and who are adjudged to be eligible by qualification and experience with HND/B.Sc.

CORPORATE MEMBER

The Council of IMEDS confer Corporate Member on businesses, development agencies, non for profit organizations, academic institutions and bilateral organizations who have contributed positively to advancement of the core values of IMEDS.

Method of Registration

Individual and Corporate Membership are accepted by the Institute. The individual applicant registering for membership must obtain an application form issued by the Institute properly filed and submitted to the Institute with the appropriate membership fee. Confirmed Professional Members shall in addition pay annual subscriptions as and when due according to grades of membership. Upon induction, members are entitled to purchase the institute’s ties, car-stickers, printed vests, towels, key-holders etc. at token fees.

Opportunity to attend IMEDS National and International trade missions.
Opportunity to attend IMEDS regional and International seminars and conferences.

Opportunity to have Members articles on any related field published in the Institute’s journal for the benefit of other Members.
